Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration (First-Generation College Student)

I am a proud alumnus of SIU’s College of Business and Analytics, where I earned a bachelors degree in 2016. During my time as a student at Southern Illinois University, I was an advisor in the study abroad office and a full-time employee. Several of these years also included hundreds of hours dedicated to being a musician in a band. I graduated with a cumulative 3.8/4.0 GPA.

Notable coursework included Business Data Analysis, Finite Mathematics, Business Calculus, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Managing Information Systems, Small Business Financing, Small Business Management, and a variety of accounting courses. This directly led me down the path of analytics and prepared me for a successful career within some of Earth’s largest companies.

University of Virginia, Semester at Sea | Fall 2013 & Spring 2015

Multi-Country Study Abroad Program

Hosted by the #2 public university in the nation (at the time), Semester at Sea is a study abroad program on a passenger ship which brings together college students with learners at all stages of life to study with world-renowned professors in a shipboard classroom setting and in countries around the globe. I traveled to a total of 30 countries throughout my two semesters abroad.

Notable coursework included International Business, International Marketing, Global Social Entrepreneurship, and World History. Each course included one project tied to in-port activities within one of the countries we visited. The studies each week typically centered around countries nearest to us in physical proximity.
